Anyone with any or all of the 17 years of Evergreen t-shirts, please donate so we can make a quilt  out of them to raffle off

Pat Sheridan is running for County Commission and needs your support

Minutes for April 3, 2010

Evergreen meeting at 3:00.  Finalized plans, last meeting for planning will be in May 2nd at the park at 3:00.

General Meeting 4:00

Treasury repot handed out.

Date reminders for April were mentioned.  April 14, Trash Pickup, April 25th Motorcycle class, April 24th Benefit Dinner at the Tribesmen for 2 of their members, give your mileage to Butch ASAP.

Thanks to all who attended the Bull riding Competition and the MRF Fun night.  We lost at the bull riding  but the MRF fundraiser was a big success with $827 raised.

Today is our last meeting at Charlies’ until October.

Shady Shores has raised $760 so far this year for ABATE.  Remember to save pull tabs for Marlene.  The awareness team has had 5 classes already this year with 3 more already planned for April.

Jeff Mays was our guest speaker.  He is running for Jim Barcia’s seat. He also presented to Region 7 a plaque of Special Tribute for our 20th year anniversary from himself, Terry Brown, John Espinoza and Jim Barcia.

RIP Run-the money earned will go to plant trees at Evergreen with a plaque in remembrance of our deceased members.

Birthdays and Anniversaries were announced.

Bikers of the Month were Cindy and Frank for putting on a great MRF Fun night.

50/50 winner was Steve Volz

Darcy Davies’ name was drawn for the free membership but she was not present so she did not win it.

Party time!  Thank you all who brought a dish to pass.

 



Minutes for March 7, 2010

Evergreen Meeting 3:00

No door prize tickets will be given out as previously discussed.  Instead the prizes will be given out along with the 50/50 drawings on Fri. and Sat. nights

Bring your own wood or buy from the park

Meeting for June will be at the park on Sunday after clean up with a cook out after

Annette Pomeroy will run the fashion show

Still need 2 members for the horseshoe tournament

No bus to bull ride not enough people

MRF Fun Night will also have a silent auction

March 2 Pizza and Pop in Lansing had a good turnout.  Jeff Mays will be at our April meeting, Terry Brown at the May meeting, Jim Barcia will be at our Salute to the Vets on Sat at Evergreen and John Espinoza will ride with us in Thunder across the Thumb.

Motion was made to put ABATE’s share of the 50/50 in the John Dewey Fund, passed.

Starting a new incentive program.  All members names will go in a jar.  One name will be pulled. If that member is present, he or she will win a one year’s membership. If you are a couple and both of you are here, both will win.  This month Terry and Lisa Frank’s name was drawn but they were absent so they did not win.
